Our Story
We started our journey as Rubian Moss, CPA, a Professional Corporation (later shortened to Moss CPA), which provided audits, accounting and tax services to businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area and across California.
Time is a great teacher, and over the years we learned our greatest impact came from working with clients on an ongoing basis, being proactive instead of resolving issues after the fact.
This aligned with our desire to create long-term relationships rather than being one-off “accountants for hire.”

We also found ourselves most fulfilled working with organizations that make a positive impact on their communities and beyond.
Supporting these change-makers with our specialized services is deeply rewarding, and it inspired our recent name change: Moss Nonprofit Accounting.
